More detail gives better results, but even a short phrase like 'Samsung TV from last year' is enough to start. You can edit any field afterwards.
What if I do not have a photo?
Kistje searches the web for a matching image and attaches it automatically. It uses the item name and category to find a good match. The result is not always perfect, but your inventory still looks the part. You can replace the image at any time from the item detail page.
How does Kistje estimate second-hand value?
Kistje estimates what an item might fetch on the second-hand market today. It uses the category, age, and brand where available. This is an approximation, not a valuation. It gives you a useful sense of what your possessions are worth before you sell or insure them.
How does Kistje help me sell an item?
When you are ready to sell, Kistje already knows the item name, description, condition, and estimated value. It can draft a listing and point you to the right marketplace: Vinted, Marktplaats, eBay, and others. You post the listing. Kistje removes the preparation work.
